We are located just off the York ringroad (B1224), within walking distance of the local villages of Upper and Nether Poppleton and Knapton.

The site is close to excellent public transport links to York and Harrogate and is close to dedicated cycle paths and walks.

We are within a 5 minute walk of Poppleton Bar Park & Ride (which does allow well behaved dogs on their buses) – a bus every 15 minutes at peak times into York City Centre! Buses now run until after 10pm at night, seven days a week, so you can enjoy what York has to offer well into the evening!

We are also a 5 minute drive of Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride and within a 10 minute walk of Poppleton Rail Station with its Northern Rail service to York and Harrogate.

Poppleton also has a local bus service into York City Centre.

We are only 4 miles from the historic city of York with its many attractions, restaurants and pubs.

The site is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk of Dobbies Garden Centre on Northfield Lane which is open 7 days a week and has a small café/restaurant and small Waitrose.

There are also local shops in Poppleton, including a Nisa Local, a chemist, a butchers and café.

There is also a Wetherby Whaler Fish and Chips (restaurant and takeaway) within a short car journey, as well as a McDonalds and Marks and Spencer Food (at the local BP station) conveniently located on the A59/B1224 roundabout on the York ring road.

The Poppleton Bar electric vehicle charging HyperHub is conveniently located across the road from the site at Poppleton Bar. Hyperhubs aim to improve electric vehicle charging provision within York with Ultra-Rapid and Rapid chargers that significantly improve the speed of charging in line with the latest EV charging technologies. You can conveniently charge your vehicle here whilst you remain on site.
